The consumtion of energy in personal transportation drops by 75% to a quarter of what it is now, when the cars run on electricity instead of internal combustion engines (ICE).

The demand for electricity rises accordingly by about 25%. And this extra demand can be covered from renewable sources: Photovoltaic panels of the area of a car parking produce as much electricity as the car below it consumes
